Terms & Conditions

Last updated 6 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SISR consulting. They govern your use of TurnProof — our timestamped turnover evidence service for short-term rental hosts.

[1]

Who you are dealing with

TurnProof is operated by SISR consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”). When you create an account or use the service, you are contracting with SISR consulting on these terms.

[2]

What the service does

TurnProof lets a host record the condition of a short-term rental property. It provides property setup (rooms, beds, bathrooms, inventory checklists), post-checkout and pre-arrival condition reports, maintenance visit records, in-app camera capture of evidence photos, server-recorded capture times, SHA-256 fingerprints of photo files, locked (immutable) submitted reports, shareable read-only evidence links, and downloadable PDF records.

[3]

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, opening the workspace, or continuing to use TurnProof, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You confirm you have the authority to accept these terms — either on your own behalf (and that you are of legal age to form a binding contract) or on behalf of a business you represent.

[4]

Your account and credentials

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Access codes and links you issue to cleaners, maintenance crews or other contractors are created at your direction; you are responsible for who you give them to, and you can revoke them at any time.

You agree to provide accurate information (including property details) and to keep it up to date.

[5]

Acceptable use

You must not misuse TurnProof. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose;
  • commit or attempt fraud, or send spam or harassing communications;
  • infringe the intellectual property or other rights of anyone else;
  • interfere with the security of the service — including uploading malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, circumventing access controls or access codes, or scraping the service other than through the features we provide; or
  • present fabricated or materially misleading evidence as genuine, or use the service to falsify the condition of a property.
[6]

Your content and evidence photos

You keep ownership of the photos, notes, checklists and other content you capture or enter through TurnProof. You give us a limited licence to host, store, process and reproduce that content solely as needed to provide the service to you — for example, storing photos, generating PDFs, and computing hashes.

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you capture (for example, photos taken at a property you manage or are authorised to enter) and for how you use the records TurnProof produces.

If you believe content on TurnProof infringes your rights, contact us using the details in the Privacy Notice. We will review takedown requests from rights holders, may remove or restrict content while we investigate, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe.

[7]

Our intellectual property

We own the TurnProof service, including its software, design, documentation and branding. Other than the content you capture, nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.

[8]

Your licence to use TurnProof

While your account is in good standing and your listings are covered by an active plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TurnProof for your own property management purposes. You must not reverse engineer the service, resell or redistribute it, or circumvent its technical limits (including per-listing coverage and photo retention rules).

[9]

Payment, subscriptions and taxes

TurnProof is charged as a monthly subscription per listing, in Australian dollars, plus GST: A$5.00 per listing for 1–3 listings, A$4.00 per listing for 4–9 listings, and A$3.00 per listing for 10 or more listings. The tier is set automatically by the number of listings on your plan. Billing frequency, payment methods, taxes, cancellations, refunds and dispute handling are handled by our reseller, Paddle, as set out in section 10.

For the full mechanics of payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refunds, refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions cover a specific number of listings. Listings beyond your paid count are locked until covered. Plan increases take effect immediately (prorated); reductions are queued and apply from your next billing period. If a payment fails, listings lock until the payment issue is resolved.

[10]

Paddle is our merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

[11]

Photo retention

Evidence photos are stored for 90 days from submission and are then permanently deleted. You are responsible for downloading the high-resolution PDF records before that deadline. Report text, checklists, timestamps and SHA-256 hashes are kept after the photos are gone. These limits are part of how we keep the service affordable, and we may enforce them automatically.

[12]

Service level and availability

We aim to keep TurnProof available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular piece of evidence will be accepted by a third party (such as a booking platform, insurer or tribunal). We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice to download your records.

[13]

Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

[14]

Suspension and termination

You can stop using TurnProof at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if: you materially breach these terms (including the acceptable use rules); fees go unpaid; your account creates a security or fraud risk; or you repeatedly or seriously breach our policies.

When access ends, your workspace becomes read-only for a grace period of 30 days so you can download any PDF records you still want. After that, your data is deleted in line with our retention practices, except where we must keep it for legal reasons.

[15]

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses — including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where that cannot be excluded by law.

[16]

Your indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses arising from content you capture or submit through TurnProof, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

[17]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give you reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice in the workspace). Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

[18]

Assignment

You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our written consent. We may assign these terms as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.

[19]

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or hosting failures, or government action.

[20]

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of that jurisdiction. Before starting court proceedings, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

Questions about these terms can be sent to sisrconsulting@gmail.com.
